ÉireComposites is originally a spin-off from National University of Ireland Galway and a healthy collaboration exists between the company and leading academic institutions in Ireland and abroad, through the SFI MaREI Centre, ICOMP, ESA and H2020 projects.
ÉireComposites is an innovative design, manufacturing, and testing company, involved in lightweight, high performance fibre-reinforced composite materials, with an international blue-chip customer base of over 70 companies in the aerospace, automotive and renewable energy sectors. ÉireComposites has established accredited composites manufacturing and testing facilities in Galway, Ireland and has significant intellectual property in manufacturing and tooling for composite materials. ÉireComposites has performed extensive research on structural analysis of materials for space applications and renewable energy.
